1 Da sprach559 Samuel8050 zum ganzen Israel3478: Siehe, ich habe eurer Stimme6963 gehorchet in allem, das ihr8085 mir gesagt559 habt, und4428 habe einen König4427 über euch gemacht.

2 And now,6258 behold,2009 the king4428 walketh1980 before6440 you: and I589 am old2204 and grayheaded;7867 and, behold,2009 my sons1121 are with854 you: and I589 have walked1980 before6440 you from my childhood4480 5271 unto5704 this2088 day.3117

2 Und nun siehe, da zeucht euer König4428 vor euch her. Ich aber bin1980 alt2204 und grau worden, und meine Söhne1121 sind1980 bei euch, und ich bin vor euch hergegangen von meiner Jugend5271 auf6440 bis auf6440 diesen Tag3117.

3 Behold,2009 here I am: witness6030 against me before5048 the LORD,3068 and before5048 his anointed:4899 whose4310 853 ox7794 have I taken?3947 or whose4310 ass2543 have I taken?3947 or whom4310 have I defrauded?6231 853 whom4310 have I oppressed?7533 or of whose hand4480 3027 4310 have I received3947 any bribe3724 to blind5956 mine eyes5869 therewith? and I will restore7725 it you.

3 Siehe, hie bin ich3724, antwortet6030 wider mich vor dem HErrn3068 und seinem Gesalbten4899, ob ich jemandes Ochsen7794 oder Esel2543 genommen habe3947, ob ich jemand habe3947 Gewalt6231 oder Unrecht getan7533, ob ich von jemandes Hand3027 ein Geschenk genommen habe und mir die Augen5869 blenden lassen5956? so will7725 ich‘s euch wiedergeben.

4 And they said,559 Thou hast not3808 defrauded6231 us, nor3808 oppressed7533 us, neither3808 hast thou taken3947 aught3972 of any man's hand.4480 3027 376

4 Sie sprachen559: Du hast3947 uns keine Gewalt6231 noch Unrecht getan7533 und376 von niemandes Hand3027 etwas3972 genommen.

5 And he said559 unto413 them, The LORD3068 is witness5707 against you, and his anointed4899 is witness5707 this2088 day,3117 that3588 ye have not3808 found4672 aught3972 in my hand.3027 And they answered,559 He is witness.5707

5 Er sprach559 zu ihnen: Der HErr3068 sei4672 Zeuge5707 wider euch und5707 sein Gesalbter4899 heutiges Tages3117, daß ihr nichts3972 in meiner Hand3027 funden habt. Sie sprachen559: Ja, Zeugen5707 sollen sie sein.

6 And Samuel8050 said559 unto413 the people,5971 It is the LORD3068 that834 advanced6213 853 Moses4872 and Aaron,175 and that834 brought5927 853 your fathers1 up out of the land4480 776 of Egypt.4714

6 Und Samuel8050 sprach559 zum Volk5971: Ja, der HErr3068, der Mose4872 und Aaron175 gemacht6213 hat5927 und eure Väter1 aus Ägyptenland776 geführet hat5927.

7 Now6258 therefore stand still,3320 that I may reason8199 with854 you before6440 the LORD3068 of853 all3605 the righteous acts6666 of the LORD,3068 which834 he did6213 to854 you and to854 your fathers.1

7 So tretet nun3320 her, daß ich mit euch rechte8199 vor6440 dem HErrn3068 über aller Wohltat6666 des HErrn3068, die er an euch und euren Vätern1 getan6213 hat.

8 When834 Jacob3290 was come935 into Egypt,4714 and your fathers1 cried2199 unto413 the LORD,3068 then the LORD3068 sent7971 853 Moses4872 and Aaron,175 which brought forth3318 853 your fathers1 out of Egypt,4480 4714 and made them dwell3427 in this2088 place.4725

8 Als Jakob3290 nach Ägypten4714 kommen1 war935, schrieen2199 eure Väter1 zu dem HErrn3068, und3068 er sandte7971 Mose4872 und Aaron175, daß sie eure Väter aus3318 Ägypten4714 führeten und sie an diesem Ort4725 wohnen3427 ließen.

9 And when they forgot7911 853 the LORD3068 their God,430 he sold4376 them into the hand3027 of Sisera,5516 captain8269 of the host6635 of Hazor,2674 and into the hand3027 of the Philistines,6430 and into the hand3027 of the king4428 of Moab,4124 and they fought3898 against them.

9 Aber da sie3027 des HErrn3068, ihres Gottes430, vergaßen7911, verkaufte4376 er5516 sie3027 unter die Gewalt Sisseras, des Hauptmann8269 zu Hazor2674, und unter die Gewalt der Philister6430 und unter die Gewalt des Königs4428 der Moabiter4124, die stritten3898 wider sie3027.

10 And they cried2199 unto413 the LORD,3068 and said,559 We have sinned,2398 because3588 we have forsaken5800 853 the LORD,3068 and have served5647 853 Baalim1168 and Ashtaroth:6252 but now6258 deliver5337 us out of the hand4480 3027 of our enemies,341 and we will serve5647 thee.

10 Und schrieen2199 aber zum HErrn3068 und sprachen559: Wir haben2398 gesündiget, daß wir den HErrn3068 verlassen5800 und Baalim1168 und Astharoth6252 gedienet haben5647; nun aber errette5337 uns von der Hand3027 unserer Feinde341, so wollen wir dir dienen5647.

11 And the LORD3068 sent7971 853 Jerubbaal,3378 and Bedan,917 and Jephthah,3316 and Samuel,8050 and delivered5337 you out of the hand4480 3027 of your enemies341 on every side,4480 5439 and ye dwelled3427 safe.983

11 Da sandte der HErr3068 Jerubbaal3378, Bedan917, Jephthah3316 und Samuel8050 und errettete5337 euch von eurer Feinde341 Händen3027 umher5439 und ließ7971 euch sicher983 wohnen3427.

12 And when ye saw7200 that3588 Nahash5176 the king4428 of the children1121 of Ammon5983 came935 against5921 you, ye said559 unto me, Nay;3808 but3588 a king4428 shall reign4427 over5921 us: when the LORD3068 your God430 was your king.4428
|
12 Da ihr aber sahet, daß Nahas5176, der König4428 der Kinder1121 Ammon5983, wider euch kam935, sprachet ihr zu mir: Nicht du559, sondern ein König4428 soll7200 über uns herrschen, so doch der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, euer König4427 war.

13 Now6258 therefore behold2009 the king4428 whom834 ye have chosen,977 and whom834 ye have desired!7592 and, behold,2009 the LORD3068 hath set5414 a king4428 over5921 you.
|
13 Nun, da habt7592 ihr euren König4428, den ihr erwählet und gebeten habt; denn siehe, der HErr3068 hat977 einen König4428 über euch gesetzt5414.
|
|
14 If518 ye will fear3372 853 the LORD,3068 and serve5647 him, and obey8085 his voice,6963 and not3808 rebel against4784 853 the commandment6310 of the LORD,3068 then shall both1571 ye859 and also1571 the king4428 that834 reigneth4427 over5921 you continue1961 following310 the LORD3068 your God: 430

14 Werdet8085 ihr nun310 den HErrn3068 fürchten und ihm dienen5647 und seiner Stimme6963 gehorchen und dem Munde6310 des HErrn3068 nicht ungehorsam4784 sein4427, so werdet beide ihr und euer König4428, der über euch3372 herrschet, dem HErrn3068, eurem GOtt430, folgen.

15 But if518 ye will not3808 obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD,3068 but rebel against4784 853 the commandment6310 of the LORD,3068 then shall the hand3027 of the LORD3068 be1961 against you, as it was against your fathers.1
|
15 Werdet8085 ihr aber des HErrn3068 Stimme6963 nicht gehorchen, sondern seinem Munde6310 ungehorsam4784 sein, wird die Hand3027 des HErrn3068 wider euch und3068 wider eure Väter1 sein.

16 Now6258 therefore1571 stand3320 and see7200 853 this2088 great1419 thing,1697 which834 the LORD3068 will do6213 before your eyes.5869
|
16 Auch1571 tretet nun3320 her und sehet7200 das1697 große1419 Ding, das der HErr3068 vor euren Augen5869 tun6213 wird.
|
|
17 Is it not3808 wheat2406 harvest7105 today?3117 I will call7121 unto413 the LORD,3068 and he shall send5414 thunder6963 and rain;4306 that ye may perceive3045 and see7200 that3588 your wickedness7451 is great,7227 which834 ye have done6213 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 in asking7592 you a king.4428

17 Ist nicht7451 jetzt die Weizenernte2406? Ich will aber den HErrn3068 anrufen, daß er soll7200 donnern6963 und6213 regnen4306 lassen7121, daß ihr3045 inne werdet und sehen sollt das große7227 Übel, das ihr vor3117 des HErrn3068 Augen5869 getan5414 habt7592, daß ihr euch einen König4428 gebeten habt.

18 So Samuel8050 called7121 unto413 the LORD;3068 and the LORD3068 sent5414 thunder6963 and rain4306 that1931 day:3117 and all3605 the people5971 greatly3966 feared3372 853 the LORD3068 and Samuel.8050

18 Und da Samuel8050 den HErrn3068 anrief7121, ließ5414 der HErr3068 donnern6963 und regnen4306 desselben Tages3117. Da fürchtete3372 das ganze Volk5971 sehr3966 den HErrn3068 und Samuel8050.

19 And all3605 the people5971 said559 unto413 Samuel,8050 Pray6419 for1157 thy servants5650 unto413 the LORD3068 thy God,430 that we die4191 not:408 for3588 we have added3254 unto5921 all3605 our sins2403 this evil,7451 to ask7592 us a king.4428
|
19 Und sprachen559 alle zu Samuel8050: Bitte6419 für deine Knechte5650 den HErrn3068, deinen GOtt430, daß wir nicht3254 sterben4191; denn über alle unsere Sünde2403 haben7592 wir auch das Übel7451 getan, daß wir uns einen König4428 gebeten haben.

20 And Samuel8050 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Fear3372 not:408 ye859 have done6213 853 all3605 this2063 wickedness:7451 yet389 turn not aside408 5493 from following4480 310 the LORD,3068 but serve5647 853 the LORD3068 with all3605 your heart;3824
|
20 Samuel8050 aber sprach559 zum Volk5971: Fürchtet euch3372 nicht7451, ihr habt zwar das Übel alles getan6213; doch weichet nicht5493 hinter310 dem HErrn3068 ab, sondern dienet5647 dem HErrn3068 von ganzem Herzen3824.

21 And turn ye not aside:3808 5493 for3588 then should ye go after310 vain8414 things, which834 cannot3808 profit3276 nor3808 deliver;5337 for3588 they1992 are vain.8414
|
21 Und weichet nicht dem Eiteln nach310; denn es nützet nicht und kann nicht erretten5337, weil es ein5493 eitel8414 Ding ist3276.
|
|
22 For3588 the LORD3068 will not3808 forsake5203 853 his people5971 for his great1419 name's8034 sake:5668 because3588 it hath pleased2974 the LORD3068 to make6213 you his people.5971
|
22 Aber der HErr3068 verlässet sein Volk5971 nicht um seines großen1419 Namens8034 willen; denn der HErr3068 hat2974 angefangen, euch ihm selbst zum Volk5971 zu machen6213.
|
|
23 Moreover1571 as for me,595 God forbid2486 that I should sin4480 2398 against the LORD3068 in ceasing4480 2308 to pray6419 for1157 you: but I will teach3384 you the good2896 and the right3477 way: 1870
|
23 Es sei2398 aber auch ferne2486 von mir595, mich also an dem HErrn3068 zu versündigen, daß ich sollte ablassen2308, für euch zu beten6419 und euch zu lehren3384 den guten2896 und richtigen3477 Weg1870.

|
24 Only389 fear3372 853 the LORD,3068 and serve5647 him in truth571 with all3605 your heart:3824 for3588 consider7200 853 how834 great things he hath done1431 for5973 you.
|
24 Fürchtet nur den HErrn3068 und dienet5647 ihm treulich571 von ganzem Herzen3824; denn ihr habt gesehen7200, wie große1431 Dinge er mit euch3372 tut.
|
|
25 But if518 ye shall still do wickedly,7489 7489 ye shall be consumed,5595 both1571 ye859 and1571 your king.4428
|
25 Werdet7489 ihr aber übel7489 handeln, so werdet beide, ihr und euer König4428 verloren sein5595.
